JESSICA MONIZ

Group Fitness Instructor / Certified Personal Trainer

My name is Jessica Moniz and I’m excited to be opening Lois Fitness with my husband David!  I have been a fitness enthusiast since as far back as I can remember. I am a Group Fitness Instructor, Personal Trainer, MAD DOGG Spinning Instructor, and hold a certification in Nutrition as well.

Fitness is a passion that is embedded into every aspect of my life.  I believe fitness is comprised of mental, physical, and emotional health.  One cannot achieve true fitness without all three of these components. I truly receive the utmost gratification in helping others achieve their fitness goals in a comfortable, personalized environment.  Everyone deserves to feel self-worth and love no matter where they are in their lives. Being positive is contagious…..this is what Lois Fitness is all about.

MIRANDA TERRA

Miranda Terra has a BS in Exercise Science and is a certified personal trainer and group fitness instructor.  She cares about the people she works with and feels there is nothing more important than helping someone become stronger, more confident and overall happier and healthier.

SUE AMARAL

Certified Personal Trainer/Group Fitness Instructor

I have always had a passion for fitness.  I started working out at the age of 15. I was raised in Dartmouth and graduated from Dartmouth High school in 1994.  After working in the food industry and medical area for some time, I have found my niche in fitness. I am excited to be sharing my knowledge and enthusiasm for working out.  In May of 2017 , I completed the Personal Trainer Program at MTTI in Seekonk. I became ACSM & FMS certified. I currently pursued other certifications in the field of fitness to increase my knowledge base.  It gives me great satisfaction by being able to help people feel better about themselves and reach their full potential. It’s the most rewarding experience I could ever hope for by working in a field that I have always had a passion for.  I am a high energy individual and I am driven to continue learning and pursuing more areas of certification in the fitness field.

DAWN SULLIVAN

Certified Personal Trainer/Group Fitness Instructor

Dawn has been a Physical Education/ Adapted Physical Education teacher and Physical Therapist Assistant for 25 years in the Berkley Public School System. Dawn has been teaching fitness classes for 4 years. She is currently certified in Les Mills Body Tone and Barre. She also enjoys teaching HIIT and small group classes. She truly embraces all types of fitness levels in which each individual is provided with the opportunity to be safe, successful and have fun! She enjoys teaching both freestyle and choreographed classes that will improve endurance, strength, coordination, balance and functional mobility that will energize you. She wants each class to be safe, effective and enjoyable.

ALISON BENFEITO

Certified Personal Trainer/Group Fitness Instructor

Ali Benfeito has been instructing fitness classes for 27 years and has worked as a personal trainer for 20 years.  She is the former co-owner of Body Mechanix, a personal training studio, and Studio Zen, a yoga studio.  A former school teacher, Ali originally went to college for Athletic Training/Exercise Science and works with local sports teams during their off season.  She is passionate about using fitness and all its components (flexibility, stability, strength, cardiovascular conditioning) in order to create wellness within.  She reside in Swansea with her husband, Vinny, three children, two dogs and chickens!

JESSICA ESTRELLA

Certified Personal Trainer/Group Fitness Instructor

Jessica received her Personal Training Certification in 2017 through ACE Fitness and graduated in 2019 as a Licensed Personal Therapist Assistant.  She is passionate about living a healthy lifestyle and loves educating others as well.  Jessica loves working with clientele of all age groups and teaching fitness classes that prioritize strength and resistance training.
